This time, Hicks no longer needs President Donald Trump to support her communications career.
The 2006 graduate of Greenwich High School, where she was a standout athlete, has landed a new top-level management job at Fox that will pay her at least 10 times what Hicks was making at the White House -- without the unending distractions of a special counsel probe, according to multiple media reports.
But does this also spell bad news for the ongoing investigation of the Trump Administration and Russia's alleged meddling in the 2016 presidential election? The jury is still out on that, as reported previously here, by Daily Voice.
The former White House communications director will join Fox as an executive vice president and communications director, Fox announced in a press release on Monday, Oct. 8.
Hicks, once among President Trump's most trusted aides, will work out of the television network's West Coast headquarters in Lost Angeles.
In California, Hicks will lead corporate communications for the company, which coincides with 21st Century Fox’s merger with Walt Disney Co., officials said.
Hicks could earn more than $1 million annually in the new job, according to this report by Politico. The newly hired Fox executive made $179,700 per year in her White House job, meaning she is likely to make more than 10 times her salary with her new role, Politico said.
In the same press release, Fox announced that Danny O’Brien also will join the major media company. O’Brien, who served as former chief of staff to Vice President Joe Biden of Delaware when Biden was a U.S. Senator, will handle government affairs for Fox.
